VINCI
Application Disclaimer.
Effective 26 July 2026 · Applies to the Vinci application and its reports.
Controlled evaluation and decision support.
Vinci is a market-risk calculation and reporting application supplied by Risk Insights LLP for controlled evaluation, user acceptance testing, model assessment and related internal decision support. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in a written contract signed by Risk Insights LLP, Vinci is a functional candidate and is not represented as a production-certified, regulator-approved or independently validated risk system.
Outputs are information, not advice.
Nothing in Vinci, including any Value at Risk, Expected Shortfall, stress-test, backtesting, limit, valuation, chart, commentary or management report, constitutes investment, trading, accounting, audit, tax, legal, actuarial or regulatory advice. The application does not determine compliance with any law, regulation, supervisory expectation, accounting standard, internal policy or risk appetite.
Risk measures are estimates, not predictions.
Risk estimates depend on assumptions, methodologies, confidence levels, holding periods, lookback windows, pricing conventions, proxy factors, correlations and historical observations. They are subject to sampling error, model error, data limitations and changing market conditions. Historical performance does not predict future outcomes. Losses may materially exceed reported risk measures, particularly during illiquid, discontinuous or stressed markets.
Independent review remains mandatory.
Users are responsible for confirming that they are authorised to use the application; ensuring that uploaded data is lawful, accurate, complete and appropriately classified; selecting suitable methodology settings; reviewing overrides and exceptions; reconciling results to approved records; performing independent model validation; and obtaining all required managerial, compliance, legal, audit and regulatory approvals before relying on an output or taking any action.
No trade, hedge, limit decision, capital decision, regulatory submission, financial statement, customer communication or senior-management representation should be made solely on the basis of Vinci output.
Upload only authorised information.
Users must not upload personal data, bank-identifying information, price-sensitive information, confidential information or third-party material unless they have authority to do so and the applicable deployment, contract and security controls permit it. Risk Insights LLP does not assume responsibility for unlawful, unauthorised or inaccurate data supplied by a user.
External inputs may change or fail.
Vinci may rely on hosting, database, email, domain, market-data or other third-party services. Risk Insights LLP does not control and does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, availability, licensing status or continued operation of third-party data or services. A source citation does not constitute endorsement or a licence to use that source.
No system is error-free or continuously available.
Reasonable controls may reduce, but cannot eliminate, operational, cyber-security, availability, transmission, software and data-loss risks. Vinci may contain defects or experience interruption, latency, data corruption, unauthorised access or loss of functionality. Users must maintain appropriate source records, backups, access controls, incident procedures and independent means of verifying material results.
Provided on an “as available” basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and except for an express warranty contained in a signed written agreement, Vinci and its outputs are provided “as is” and “as available”, without representation or warranty—express, implied or statutory—including as to accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.
Liability is limited where the law permits.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Risk Insights LLP and its partners, personnel and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, data, business or anticipated savings, arising from or connected with the use of, inability to use, or reliance on Vinci or its outputs.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Any liability governed by a signed written agreement remains subject to that agreement, which will prevail if it conflicts with this disclaimer.
Rights remain reserved.
Vinci, its design, software, documentation, methodologies and branding are owned by or licensed to Risk Insights LLP, except for identified third-party materials. No right is granted except the limited right to use the application for the authorised purpose. Risk Insights LLP may amend the application or this disclaimer; the effective date shown above identifies this version.
